Older generations blame Millennials for “killing off” enclosed malls. I suppose they imagine Millennials havestarted a #MallToo Twitter movement or are personally demolishing malls†.
“Completely uninterested in” is not the same thing as “killing off”. Millennials have committed many atrocities and should be censured for these actions – I agree – but they didn’t kill off the mall any more than they killed off 80s music. In fact, they may bring back the Mall after awhile and claim to have invented it.
†Likely by means of some sort of labor-hiring app or something.
Sure, God commanded us to obey the laws of the land, but surely he didn’t mean this!
Such statements from ultraconservatives can mean only one thing: God didn’t foresee the current state of affairs, so God misspoke. Surely, then, God is not a god. Or maybe such a statement is deeply, sinfully flawed.
Heinz (the ketchup people) got in trouble when a QR code on their label directed a man to a hard-core porn site. Apparently the promotional campaign had ended and the associated domain expired. Meh. It would’ve been funnier had the condiment been mayonnaise.
