Temporis was featured favorably in the February 2010 issue of Mac|Life Magazine.

2009

I received the 2009 NIAID CIO Award (National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Disease - Chief Information Officer Award) for my user interaction analysis and design work on the PaVE project.

Apple once again designated Ziplight (version 1.3) a Staff Pick and it was again the featured download for the month of August.

Apple named TranscrivaStaff Pick.

TUAW wrote a favorable review about Transcriva.

2008

I received the 2008 NIAID CIO Award (National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Disease - Chief Information Officer Award) for the design and development of Spice.

"[The award is] about your dedication, pride in your work, responsiveness, creativity and team spirit in getting [Spice] to where it is. Congrats. It is well deserved."

Spice was accepted into the NIH Research Festival as a poster session. Because the details are not available on a public-facing server, direct links to the abstract and the poster itself are available for download as PDF documents below.

New York Times article referred to CopyWrite as a "seminal" application in its genre. In fairness, the article was mostly singing the praises of an upstart competitor, but the top Mac applications in the genre were presented as alternatives to Microsoft Word for managing one's writing projects.

Both CopyWrite and myself by name were mentioned in the dedication page of David Prakel'sBasics Photography: Working in Black & White.

Apple named Ziplight (version 1.3) a Staff Pick and maintained a place on the top ten downloads list for the Spotlight Plugin category for several years.

CopyWrite received a 4-Mouse Award from MacWorld Magazine. The review appeared in both their print and web editions.

"CopyWrite ... is a top-notch text editor and organizer, and it’s reasonably priced. I recommend it for use with multiple related documents where content is more important than presentation."
